Geiger wins in Oberstdorf
What an exciting start into the 69th Four-Hills-Tournament. Karl Geiger from Oberstdorf returned just in time for the first jumping after his quarantine ended and presented himself directly in top form. In his hometown he delivered two strong jumps and secured his victory on the Schattenbergschanze. Second place went to Kamil Stoch, who was unimpressed by the Corona issue in the Polish team. The podium was completed by the Norwegian Marius Lindvik. World Cup leader Halvor Egner Granerud followed in 4th place, ahead of Markus Eisenbichler, who showed the longest jump of the day with 142 meters. Stefan Kraft landed as the best Austrian in sixth place.
