Provisional calendar for 2017/18 released

Four Hills Tournament, Olympic Games and Ski Flying World Championship as highlights.

The International Ski Federation presented its temporary calendar planning for the summer season 2017 and the winter season 2017/2018.

The FIS Summer Grand Prix will start in Wisla on 14th and 15th of July and will end on 3rd of October in Klingenthal (GER).

Only two months later, on 25th and 26th of November, the jumpers will start the winter season in Ruka (FIN). With the start in Oberstdorf on the 29th and 30th of December the  Four Hills Tournament, one of three highlights this winter will start. The competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen will be held as usual on 31st of December and 1st of January ahead of Innsbruck (January 3 and 4) and Bischofshofen (5th and 6th January). The second major event will be the Ski Flying World Championship in Oberstdorf between 19th and 21st January. In February, the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang (KOR) will take place. The season final will be in Planica (SLO) from 23rd to 25th of March.
