Sven Hannawald special guest at action week in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The German Skijumping legend will report about his own experiences with the pressure to perform during an action week in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The event will be opened on Monday, September 19th, 12:00, in the 'Olympiasaal' of congress centre Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the presence of Hannawald. Later on, skijumping fans will have the opportunity to get signatures, pictures and a small talk with the champion of the Four Hills tournament of 2001/02. At the end of the first day of the action week, Hannawald will take part in a panel discussion (18:30).

"We all want our children to grow up as healthy and fit as possible, regarding both their physical, but also mental health. Because of my own experiences with the pressure to perform, great career highlights and the long drop down after a burnout, I am concerned about those topics. I'm looking forward to the event", the former top athlet said.
