Severin Freund will miss Four Hills Tournament
After two cruciate ligament ruptures last year, Freund is constantly working on his comeback on the ski jumping hill. Recently, the Munich native had to struggle with back problems. In a press briefing on the World Cup jumping in Engelberg, the German national coach Stefan Horngacher now explained: "With Severin, it is certain that he will not start. He is now in training and his back problems are under control. He needs a little time, though. With him, there's no telling when he'll be back". This means that the 2016 ski flying world champion will not be part of the German team at the Four Hills Tournament. However, according to Horngacher, Freund will continue to train for a comeback this season. We wish Severin Freund all the best for the rest of the season and a quick return to the ski jumping hill!
