Another great weekend for Domen Prevc

The weekend in Engelberg ends with a first and a second place for the Slovenian youngster. Eisenbichler finished as best German jumper in both competitions.

Michael Hayboeck got the first Austrian win in this season in the first competition on Saturday. Domen Prevc landed on the second place and Hayboeck's compatriot Andreas Kofler finished third. Daniel Andre Tande from Norway landed on the fourth place, right before Daiki Ito from Japan. Once again Markus Eisenbichler was the best German athlet (7th place). Richard Freitag, who was placed second after the first round, fell back to the eighth place in the final round. Severin Freund achieved the tenth place and also finished top ten.

On Sunday Domen Prevc returned to the top step of the podium. Kamil Stoch (POL) and Stefan Kraft (AUT) finished right behind Prevc. Manuel Fettner (4th place) completted another good team result for Austria. Markus Eisenbichler performed well in the second jump in Engelberg and landed on the fifth place. Also Richard Freitag (7th place) and Severin Freund (9th place) finished in the top group. 

With two top results from Switzerland in his bag, Domen Prevc will arrive in Oberstdorf as the top favourite for the Four Hills Tournament. In 13 days the skijumping elite will fight for the win in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
