Anze Lanisek wins first competition

Florian Altenburger (AUT) on position two, Miran Zupancic (SLO) on three.

The 21 years old Slovenian Anze Lanisek gains the first win of the Continental Cup weekend in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. With jumps on 137 and 131.5 meters, he wins in front of Florian Altenburger from Austria (126.5m/128.0m) and Miran Zupancic (123.0m/129.5m) from Slovenia.

Pius Paschke was the best German athlete on position 13 with distances of 120 and 118 meters. Tim Fuchs (119.0m/119.5m) landed on rank 16, Sebastian Bradatsch (116.5m/116.0m) on 22 and Martin Hamann (116.0m/111.0m) on position 28.

After this competition Daniel Huber (AUT) is still leading the overall ranking with 356 points, now in front of Florian Altenburger with 317 points and Cene Prevc (SLO) with 280 points.

The trial round starts at 9h tomorrow, following the second and last competition of the weekend that starts at 10h.
