Dawid Kubacki wins the 68th Four Hills Tournament

It was an extremely exciting final of the Vierschanzentournee 2019/20. Until the last jumpers of the 2. Passage was open. In the end, the Pole Dawid Kubacki prevailed, ahead of the young Norwegian Markus Lindvik and Karl Geiger.

He went as leader into the last jumping competition of this year's Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen. Kubacki got himself through a 3rd place. Place in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, as well as a 2. Today, the second place in Innsbruck was a good starting position for Bischofshofen and secured the overall victory of the tour. This makes him only the third Polish ski jumper to succeed. From Poland, only Adam Malysz (2003) and Kamil Stoch (2017 and 2018) have so far held the coveted golden eagle in their hands. Karl Geiger occupies in Bischofshofen the 2. Place and convinces by good jumps. Due to his great performances during the tour, he occupies a good 3rd place in the overall standings. In front of him is the young hobby DJ Marius Lindvik. Due to outstanding jumps in the past jumps, the Norwegian rider ended up in 2nd place in the overall tour standings. The Ski Jumping World Cup will continue on 10. 01. 2020 in Val di Flemme (ITA) and gives hope for an exciting title race.
