Double podium for Germany in Oslo

Stefan Kraft remains on form. German team narrowly beaten.

Just like at the World Championships in Lahti, the competitors were defeated by the Austrian Stefan Kraft in the first competitions of the “Raw Air” event. From a German perspective, the result is nothing to be disappointed about. Andreas Wellinger and Markus Eisenbichler completed the podium. So it was the same result as at the competition on the normal hill in Lahti.

In the team event one day before, the German jumpers showed that they had picked themselves up from the unfulfilling 4th place at the Wold Championships. Markus Eisenbichler, Stephan Leyhe, Richard Freitag and Andreas Wellinger (a total of 987.2 points) put in a strong performance and finished in second place. Once again, Stefan Kraft could cheer at the world-famous Holmenkollen - Austria won with 999.7 points.
