Fannemel and Takeuchi win in Hakuba

Hakuba weekend ends with a norwegian and a japanese win and a third place for Andreas Wellinger on Saturday.

Anders Fannemel secured the win on Saturday with two jumps up to 129 meter. Local hero Taku Takeuchi finished second before Andreas Wellinger. With Karl Geiger (4), Andreas Wank (11) and Stephan Leyhe (19), three more German athletes were able to make it to the best 30.

The second competition on Sunday ended with a home win for Taku Takeuchi, who was able to take a couple of points on this weekend with a first and second place. Three athletes from Norway finished behind Takeuchi on the places 2 to 4 (Hauer, Fannemel, Tande). The german athletes could not tie up with the good result on Saturday and landed on places 8 (Geiger), 9 (Wellinger) and 27 (Leyhe). It was a bad weekend for Richard Freitag, who couldn't qualify for the second round on both days.

Maciej Kot, who didn't start in Japan, is still leading in the overall Summer Grand Prix standings with 380 points before Andreas Wellinger (285) and Anders Fannemel (240).
