Saturday - Individual competition
The first day of competition was won by Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi with 324.5 points. Behind him finished the Slovenian Anze Lanisek (318,9 P.) followed by Markus Eisenbichler with 304,4 points. The athlete from Siegsdorf was in 5th place after the first round, but managed to secure his place on the podium thanks to a strong second round. Karl Geiger ended up in 5th place, 34.9 points behind.To the official final result.
Sunday - Individual competition
On Sunday, the previous day's second-placed Anze Lanisek celebrated the first World Cup victory of his career with 311.9 points. The Slovenian won with only 1.6 points ahead of Karl Geiger (310.3 points) from Oberstdorf. Geiger was able to defend the yellow jersey of the overall World Cup leader, as his competitor Granerud already failed in the qualification. The first German double podium of the season was completed by Markus Eisenbichler with 305.2 points on another strong third place.
