Granerud triumphs once again in Willingen - Eisenbichler on the podium
Saturday - Individual jumping
In the first individual event of the weekend in Willingen once again the leader of the Ski Jumping World Cup Halvor Egner Granerud from Norway dominated. With 8.9 points he won ahead of his compatriot Daniel Andre Tande, followed by Kamil Stoch with a gap of 13.3 points to the winner. The German jumpers had a harder time in the competition on Saturday. Best DSV athlete was Markus Eisenbichler on rank 8, Karl Geiger finished 11th and Pius Paschke jumped on 24th place.
Sunday - Individual jumping
The second individual jumping at Mühlenkopfschanze ended in wind chaos. The qualification had to be cancelled, the first round lasted almost two hours and also the second round had to be cancelled due to weather conditions. Halvor Egner Granerud won the first and only jump which was included in the ranking with 149 meters ahead of Piotr Żyła from Poland with a distance of 137 meters. Markus Eisenbichler took advantage of the briefly good wind conditions and jumped to a strong 3rd place with 143 meters.
