Kamil Stoch wins 65th Four Hills Tournament

The athlete from Poland gains the overall victory in an exciting competition.

At the last Four Hills Tournament station of the 65th edition, the favorite on the overall win, Daniel-André Tande (NOR) , couldn't manage to take the win after a jump on only 117m in the second competition round. Instead Stoch (134.5m/138m) exploited the situation and triumphed in Bischofshofen. The first round didn't show everything was all up in the air. Tande jumped on 135 meters and the third place, in the meantime Stoch landed on the second place. At the end the Polish took both wins - the overall victory and the triumph on the Epiphany Ski Jumping competition.

The German Andreas Welliger (123m/-) who won the qualification the day before and established the new hill record could not build on his strong performance and did not pass to the final round. Also Markus Eisenbichler (GER/128.5m/128.5m) only ranked on 13.
The best German athlete of the evening was Richard Freitag with 130.5 and 134 meters and position 6.
