Kubacki wins the Grand Prix – comeback for David Siegel
On the first of the two days of competition in Wisla, Poland, the 999 spectators were able to celebrate the success. Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch and Piotr Zyla landed on the podium.
Tomasz Pilch convinced in fourth place and made the polish success perfect. Moritz Baer (10.) also jumps into the Top 10. David Siegel was allowed to jump off the hill for the first time after his injury break of about one and a half years safed the 27th place.
The Poles also triumphed on Sunday. Once again, Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch and Piotr Zyla were delighted with the coveted places on the podium. After a disappointing Saturday, Martin Hamann also made the jump into the second round on Sunday and became the best German on 15th. Moritz Baer was 26th., David Siegel 29th.
Due to the current situation of Corona, some nations did not participate in the Summer Grand Prix. In addition, all other events in the summer have already been cancelled. The next international competition is expected to take place at the start of the season on 21st of November 2020 also in Wisla.
