No spectators at New Year's ski jumping
The New Year's ski jumping of the 70th Four Hills Tournament will take place without spectators, following the current tightening of the Bavarian Infection Protection Ordinance on Friday, 3 December. The organising committee in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is taking back tickets with immediate effect and refunding the full purchase price (excluding postage costs). Spectators who purchased their tickets online will be informed that they will be refunded. Customers who did not purchase online should contact the point of sale where they purchased their tickets.
The current regulation of the Bavarian cabinet is valid until 15 December. Should it then become possible to ease the regulations and allow spectators into the stadiums again, the organisers want to react quickly. "We are not expecting that at the moment. But of course, we are very flexible and could start ticket sales again within a few hours. If necessary, even shortly before Christmas," explains Michael Maurer, chairman of the Partenkirchen Ski Club and head of the organising committee for New Year's ski jumping.
