Severin Freund suffers cruciate rupture

The 28 year old will miss the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang after suffering an injury during training in Oberstdorf.

Severin Freund has once again suffered a cruciate rupture in his right knee. The accident occurred in his second jumping training in Oberstdorf. He will be out for a long time, and will miss the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.

Already in January this year Freund had suffered a rupture of the cruciate ligament.

Friend has already had a successful surgery. With the hashtag #RoadtoSeefeld he has called out a new target on his social network profiles. In 2019 the Nordic World Championship will take place at Seefeld.
