Strong Wellinger in Japan

German finishes on fourth and second place. First season win for Peter Prevc (SLO). Victories for Stoch and Kot (POL).

The 21 years old Andreas Wellinger is still in good condition as he affirms his strong results of the weeks before on landing on the fourth and second place in Japan.

On Saturday, the first competition ended with a double win. Petr Prevc, who celebrated his first win of the season shared the top place on the podium with Maciej Kot (both 262.5 p.)

At the second competition of the weekend, on Sunday, the last edition’s Four Hills Tournament champion Kamil Stoch managed to redeem his disappointing result from the day before as he could take the win after an exciting fight for the first place with Andreas Wellinger who had been in front after the first heat.
