Team Germany disappoints in Zakopane

Not a good weekend for Germany's jumping elite. On Saturday as well as on Sunday the German jumpers presented themselves in no good shape. Ryōyū Kobayashi and Halvor Egner Granerud secured the day's victories.

Saturday

Ryōyū Kobayashi was able to cheer on Saturday. The Japanese showed two strong jumps and won the individual event on Saturday. Andrzej Stękała jumped into second place, Marius Lindvik finished third. Markus Eisenbichler and Pius Paschke finished as the best two Germans in a shared 14th place. Karl Geiger reached rank 23.

Sunday

Sunday was also not very promising for Team Germany. As 12th Markus Eisenbichler was again the best jumper of the German team. The day's victory went to Halvor Egner Granerud ahead of Anze Lanisek and Robert Johansson. Karl Geiger found himself on 22nd place.
