Two slovenian victories in Chaikovsky
The spectators in Chaikovsky saw a confident victory of Robert Kranjec as he reached widths of 141 and 145.5 metres that aditionally brought him two hill records. Behind Kranjec, Anze Semenic (259.6 p.) and German Karl Geiger (259.5 p.) made it to the podium.
After his good result on Saturday, Anze Zemenic was able to take the win in the second competition of the weekend. 271.2 points earned Semenic a clear win ahead of the Czech duo Tomas Vancura (263.6 points) and Vojtech Stursa (259.8 points).
Finishing 16th, Karl Geiger couldn't repeat his strong performance of Saturday's competition. The second German athlet, Pius Paschke, reached the 29th place.
Amongst others, Maciej Kot and Andreas Wellinger, still placed first and second in the overall ranking with 380 and 285 points, didn't take the trip to Chaikovsky. After the weekend, Taku Takeuchi is now overtaking the third place in the overall standings from Anders Fannemel.
At the end a very pleasant message: Severin Freund and his fiancee Caren tied the knot on Saturday – Congratulations and only the best of luck for both!
