Willingen: Tschofenig wins double

Daniel Tschofenig wins twice at the ski jumping competition in Willingen.

The mixed team competition was won by the Norwegians. The team consisted of Thea Minyan Bjørseth, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal, Eirin Maria Kvandal and Johann André Forfang. The Austrians, represented by Lisa Eder, Jan Hörl, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Daniel Tschofenig, came second. The German team of Katharina Schmid, Philipp Raimund, Selina Freitag and Andreas Wellinger completed the podium.

Saturday - individual jumping

Seven DSV eagles qualified for the competition on Saturday. Only Pius Paschke, Felix Hoffmann and Andreas Wellinger made it through to the second round. The best German in the end was Felix Hoffmann in 15th place with 248.8 points. Daniel Tschofenig secured the day's victory ahead of Anze Lanisek and Maximilian Ortner.

Sunday - individual jumping

On Sunday, all DSV eagles qualified for the competition. Pius Paschke, Karl Geiger, Felix Hoffmann and Adrian Tittel missed the second round. The best German was Andreas Wellinger in 12th place with 269.2 points. Philipp Raimund came 15th with 264.7 points. Daniel Tschofenig once again secured the day's victory. The podium was completed by Johann André Forfang and Jan Hörl.
