Winning streak of the Austrians in Wisła!

The ÖSV team is in excellent shape in Wisła, Poland and secures the team victory and the top spot in the individual competition. The German quartet takes silver and 3 top10 finishes on Sunday.

Saturday - Team competition

The first team competition of the season went to Austria. The ÖSV quartet consisting of Manuel Fettner, Jan Hörl, Daniel Huber and Stefan Kraft defeated the German team by 0.3 points with Pius Paschke, Stephan Leyhe, Markus Eisenbichler and Karl Geiger, who secured 842.7 points. Third went to the Slovenian team with 834.4 points.

Sunday - Individual competition

Jan Hörl, the man of the jumps in Poland! The 23-year-old secured his first World Cup victory in his career with strong 261.9 points. He was followed in second place by Norway's Marius Lindvik with 6.7 points. Stefan Kraft finished the good scoring of the Austrians with 253.6 points and came in third. World Champion Karl Geiger finished fourth and defended the yellow jersey of the overall leader sovereignly. The DSV team showed a strong team result: 3 x Top10! As the best German, Karl Geiger finished 4th, Markus Eisenbichler lined up in 5th place and Pius Paschke jumped into 7th place.
