Kubacki wins qualification for New Year’s Ski Jumping Event
The Polish jumper won the qualification though the by far longest jump had been shown by another: Ryoyu Kobayashi, of course. The world cup leader did not show a telemark at 140 meters though and thus landed on second rank, followed by Kubacki’s team mate Kamil Stoch.
On forth rank, Markus Eisenbichler from Germany once again proved his good form. With Kar Geiger (6th) and Stephan Leyhe (8th) two of his team mates made it into the top10. All in all, twelve German jumpers are qualified for the competition on Tuesday.
