Forfang wins qualification for New Year's Skijumping
Johann Andre Forfang won the qualification in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Norwegian won ahead of the two Polish jumpers Dawid Kubacki and Stefan Hula.
Richard Freitag finished fourth as the best German. With Markus Eisenbichler (12th), Karl Geiger (13th) and Andreas Wellinger (15th), three more jumpers from Germany made it into the Top 15.
