DSV misses out on podium, Wellinger is the top German
At the ski flying event in Planica, Domen Prevc once again demonstrated his exceptional class. In front of his home crowd, the Slovenian delivered two commanding jumps to secure victory ahead of Ren Nikaido and Daniel Tschofenig. For the German team, Andreas Wellinger was the top German finisher in eighth place, whilst Stefan Embacher suffered a setback in the overall ski flying standings following a fall.

Domen Prevc dominated the training and qualification rounds at the start of the ski flying weekend in Vikersund. On Saturday, Stephan Embacher surprised everyone with his first World Cup victory, whilst the German ski jumpers all scored points but were unable to challenge for the top places. The second competition on Sunday had to be cancelled due to difficult wind conditions.
