The ski jumping weekend in Rasnov, Romania, could hardly have gone better for the German jumpers. On Friday Karl Geiger won ahead of the second placed Stephan Leyhe and Stefan Kraft and on Saturday both, Karl Geiger and Constantin Schmid jumped onto the podium. Another ray of hope for the German athletes: Severin Freund returned to the Ski Jumping World Cup after a long injury break and even reached the final round on Saturday.
