The Raw Air Tour has started and at the first stop in Oslo there was already reason to celebrate for German ski jumper Karl Geiger who started the tour with a strong third place. The victory went to the Slovenian ski jumper Anze Lanisek, who was able to win narrowly against Stefan Kraft and Karl Geiger.
This weekend the men's individual jumping from the large hill took place and the eyes of the fans were focused on the local favorite Timi Zajc. The expectations were high and Zajc lived up to them by leaving the competition behind and winning the gold medal. However, the competition was fiercely contested and there were many strong competitors, including Markus Eisenbichler, who finished best German in fifth place.
The Nordic World Ski Championships in Planica opened very successfully for the DSV this weekend. 2nd and 3rd place in men's single and GOLD in mixed team competition for Germany.
