Pius Paschke best German athlete in Zakopane
Pius Paschke achieved a top-ten finish and was the best German athlete in the individual competition in Zakopane. Karl Geiger narrowly missed to qualify for the second round by just 1.1 points. In the Super Team event, Germany had to settle for a rather sobering sixth place.
Prevc wins the tournament, Hoffmann best German
What a finale: Domen Prevc wins this year’s Four Hills Tournament in commanding fashion, finishing ahead of the two Austrians Jan Hörl and Stephan Embacher. The best German athlete in the overall standings is Felix Hoffmann in sixth place.
Raimund finishes sixth in the qualification in Bischofshofen
As in Innsbruck, all German ski jumpers qualified for tomorrow’s competition at the Paul Ausserleitner Hill in Bischofshofen. The best German athlete was Philipp Raimund, who finished sixth.
