Vikersund: End of the Raw Air

The Raw Air is over: Austrian Stefan Kraft secured the victory and also won the overall World Cup.

Last stop of the Raw Air in Vikersund. After the qualification on Friday, the World Cup on Sunday had to be canceled and postponed due to the weather conditions. 

For the first time in the history of women's ski jumping, women's ski flying also took place. Katharina Schmid was the best German in fourth place.

Sunday - Individual flying 

On Sunday morning, the World Cup from Saturday was rescheduled in one round. Andreas Wellinger was the best DSV eagle in sixth place. Austria's Stefan Kraft, on the other hand, secured another World Cup victory and overall victory this season.

The second ski flying competition of the day was held in three rounds. A total of 30 jumpers competed in the first round, after which the field was reduced by 10 jumpers with each round. 
Pius Paschke finished in 24th place, while Philipp Raimund was eliminated in the second round and 13th place. Only Andreas Wellinger was able to qualify for the final round and secured ninth place. 

Victory once again went to an Austrian, in the person of Daniel Huber. Stefan Kraft came second and was therefore also able to celebrate overall victory in the Raw Air. 
Wellinger landed in sixth place in this ranking.

The DSV eagles now travel on to Planica (March 21-24) for the end of the season. Once again there will be ski flying competitions.
