Planica: Third place in the overall World Cup for Wellinger

The 2023/24 season came to an end with the ski flying event in Planica. The DSV eagles secured third place overall in the Nations Cup.

Compared to the previous weekend, the German team traveled to the season finale with Luca Roth and Felix Hofmann instead of Philipp Raimund and Constantin Schmid. Karl Geiger, Stephan Leyhe, Pius Paschke and Andreas Wellinger therefore remained in the line-up.

All six jumpers qualified for the first individual competition on Friday.
