Markus Eisenbichler has shown the best German performance during the long ski flying weekend of Oberstdorf.

The young Bavarian landed on third rank on Friday with Timi Zajc from Slovenia surprisingly winning the first world cup ski flying event he ever competed in, right in front of Dawid Kubacki from Poland.
